2013 Puffin trade paperback of the 1980 tale of a foul and smelly man, his horrible old hag glass-eyed wife, and their Muggle-Wump monkey caged family in the garden who now want to take their revenge. I found this fine condition copy a couple days ago in the Grove Little Free Library in Castro Valley.

I can let this go after I read:
1948 Sometime Never: A Fable for Supermen [n/a]
1948 Man from the South (short story) [read 2012]
1953 Lamb to the Slaughter (short story) [read 2013]
1959 A Fine Son (short story in Playboy) [read 2014]
1961 James and the Giant Peach [read 2018]
1964 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory [read 2020]
1965 The Visitor (short story in Playboy) [read 2020]
1972 Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator [read 2024]
1974 Bitch (short story in Playboy) [read 2020]
1979 Roald Dahl's Tales of the Unexpected [read 2008]
1979 My Uncle Oswald [read 2021]

Edit April 28, 2024: This was a lot of fun, with plenty of hairy drawings. It's for young readers and runs short. I currently have this ranked at #7333 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.

Aside from loving shared books, my main passion in life is supporting the human rights work of my good friend, Anni Cyrus. 💖 💖 Her life story of survival as a childhood refugee is astounding, and quite moving!

Please tune in to her many warnings to help the rest of us avoid the same fate she suffered under: Searchable on Google, DuckDuckGo, and YouTube. You can also follow her on Facebook and Telegram, among other platforms.
